Millboard FAQ's
Millboard has a 25 year residential guarantee; there hardly any upkeep to keeping your decking looking as good as the day you got it.
Remove spills and marks with a mild detergent and a cloth or brush – no need for any solvents, chemicals or abrasive cleaners. To keep your millboard in tip top condition clean it every 12-18months to remove general dirt and leaf particials. Water and a broom will do the trick!
Millboard stays the same all year round! If you find yourself wanting to tackle any ice in the winter, a small amount of granulated white salt (not rock salt) can be used and simple wash it off with soapy water and a soft broom when the warm weather returns.
As with all composite products, the surfaces will get hotter when exposed to direct sunlight. Darker colours particularly will feel hotter, so i would probably suggested popping your flip flops on mid afternoon sunshine. However, as Millboard is made from a resin mineral composition the expanding and contracting of boards in the heat is minimal in comparison to plastic based decking or timber.
No treating or sealing required! The Millboard product is sealed in the factory & will last it’s lifetime.
Yes! pretty much! Millboard is very versatile, balconies, decking areas, outdoor dining areas, pool, hot tub & spa surrounds, the list goes on! Also, new to the Millboard range is their brand new cladding product! Which can be used on most exterior walls. Got an idea in mind? Give us a call & we can help bring it to life!
